I took this photo early in the morning in April, while hiking along a side trail off of Albertson Fire Road. I am growing a couple varieties of native sage in our garden. One is named Pozo Blue or Grey Musk Sage. The second is Alpine Cleveland Sage aka Salvia clevelandii. They are small right now but should grow to three or four feet high and maybe just as wide. Pozo Blue just started to bloom.
